*** BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTALLATION NOTES CAREFULLY BELOW - DON'T GET IT WRONG! ***
This is UI package is up to date as of the 22nd July 2009. Please not you may need to use curse or something to that effect to update some of the addons. But as of the 22nd of july they are all up to date.
YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE A BACK UP OF YOUR INTERFACE AND WTF FOLDERS - I WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY SCREW UPS THIS UI PACK CAUSES - BE WARNED - READ THIS FILE FULLY BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.
Be advised this UI is set to my screens resolution, so you may need to play with some seetings for it to fit your screen.
Using this package at other resolutions may result in a horrible looking UI - You will need to play around with the UI scale and probably other settings to get your UI to look good at your own screen resolution.
Issues --------------------------------------------------- Some addons are still flagged as "out of date", but they are still working properly. Make sure you "Load out of data addons"
Sometimes the chat window does not want to keep locked in its original position at the first launch. This is easily fixed by unlocking it manually dragging it in place and locking it down. After that it should be fine everytime you log on.
You will need to select the Zeruel or general/default profile under many of the addons.
--------------------------------------------------- Installation notes - BACK UP EVERYTHING FIRST!!!!!! ---------------------------------------------------
1. BACKUP your existing WTF and Interface folders in your WoW directory put them somewhere safe - now remove the existing WTF, Fonts and Interface folders (while keeping thme safely backed up)
2. Unzip ZeruelUI.rar and place the containing Interface and WTF folders directly in your main WoW directory so it looks like this.
\World of Warcraft\Interface \World of Warcraft\WTF
*** Remember to do the following steps for EACH account/character you want to have this addon-pack installed for. ***
3. Open the WTF -> Account folder and rename the "ACCOUNT NAME" folder to your own account's name.(example: ZeruelAccount)
4. Open the "ACCOUNT NAME" folder you just renamed, and rename the "YOUR SERVER" folder inside to correspond to your server's name.(example: Vek'Nilash)
5. Open the "YOUR SERVER" folder you just renamed, and rename the "YOUR CHARACTER" folder inside to correspond to your character's name.(example: Zeruel)
6. *Optional* If you want to keep your old macros and keybindings, copy the "bindings-cache.wtf" and "macros-cache.txt" from your backed up folders, and place them in your newly installed ones, in their respective place (account- and charactername folders). I highly suggest this, as my keybindings an macros are much different then what you would want.
7. Launch the game - make sure ALL the mods are turned on.
8. When in the game, it will look like a total mess. Don't worry, it's fixed in a few simple steps!
9. Type: /bar - and choose Profile -> Zeruel (you may also need to unlock the bars and move them around - the stance bar in particular)
/pitbull - and choose Profile -> Zeruel. BUT, you also need to select Modules, and find and turn on Portrait
/sbf options - and choose Profiles (bottom right tab) and select Zeruel
/kgpanels config - and choose Profile, Zeruel. *Please note this is setup using my shammen, so you will need to go through an maybe turn things off you dont need.
/bf config - Select Skin Apathy and Gloss level to 43%
/sbf config - At the bottom choose profile then choose Zerul.
/quartz - Choose profie Zeruel
Click on your computer Icon in wow, choose interface an go to addons. When in there, go to the Chatter Addon, click the + sign, go to Profiles and choose Zerul. Please not it will sometimes pop an error because of the whisper function, disreguard this. You will need to unlock the window by scrolling over it, goto the tab that says "General" an right click, choose Unlock Window from the menu. Now move your box to where you want it, also after you move it to where you want it, click the enter button to bring up a chat box and move that where you want it. After you are done Lock the window.
Right click on your map, goto the profile section and choose zeruel. You will need to resize an move the map yourself. I scale it down to fit next to where my bag is. Also please play with the settings as well. Its a nice addon.
Click your inventory bag and bring it up. This is buadbag. A TIME SAVER! Change the options. There is no profile for this addon, so you have to play with things, also you must visit your bank to fill in all the bank slots.
now type:
/console reloadui
You WILL need to play with the mod settings and everything. I have done my absolute best to try and make this as complete as I know how. Please don't spam me in game or email unless you have first tried to work it all out yourself.
